Privacy Policy

Digital Business (“we,” “us,” “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have over it, in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who We Are

Digital Business is the trading name of Digi-Business Ltd (company number 12497103), acting as the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

You can contact us about anything in this policy at will@digi-business.co.uk.

What Personal Data We Collect

We collect personal data in two ways:

Information you give us directly. When you use the contact form on this site, we collect your name, email address, business name (if provided), and the content of your message.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure automatically logs standard technical data for security and operational purposes, such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested.

Analytics data (only with your consent). If you click “Accept” on our cookie banner, we load Google Tag Manager, which we use to run Google Analytics 4. This sets analytics cookies and collects information about how you use the site, such as the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, your approximate location, and your device and browser type. If you click “Reject”, or make no choice, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics are not loaded and no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page.

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Loading a font makes a request to Google’s servers, which will process your IP address as part of that request. Google’s privacy policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Cookies

Our only non-essential cookies are the analytics cookies set by Google Analytics if you accept them. These cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier) are used to tell visitors and sessions apart, and typically last up to two years. We do not currently use advertising or marketing cookies. If we add other tags in future, we will update this policy and they will only load after you have given consent. Your cookie choice is stored in your browser’s local storage so we can remember it.

We keep contact form enquiries for as long as reasonably necessary to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards for our business records, and no longer than necessary for that purpose.
